The
Clay County Sheriff's Office provides two types of fingerprinting services.
First, the
Clay County Sheriff's Office provides a fingerprinting service to the
public for a fee of just $5. Residents interested in having fingerprints
made (at the request of the potential employer) must bring with him/her
the fingerprint card provided by the prospective employer. The
CCSO does not provide these cards. Do not fill out any
portion of this card in advance. Our clerks will type the card
for you.
Fingerprinting
is done in the main Green Cove Springs office lobby between the 8am
and 4:30pm, Monday through Friday. This service is not available
at the other CCSO locations, i.e. Middleburg, Keystone, or Orange Park.
If
you have questions related to this service, call the front lobby receptionist
at (904) 213-5904.
Second,
the Clay County Sheriff's Office Explorer Post provides fingerprinting
kits for children at community events. Please contact the Explorer
Post advisor, Deputy John Jordan, for more information by having him
paged at (904) 264-6512. These fingerprinting kits are used by
law enforcement in situations where a child has been abducted or is
missing.
