 There
are two main ways to acquire a permit from the state of Florida to
carry a concealed weapon.
First,
go to any of the three main CCSO offices (Green Cove Springs, Orange
Park, Middleburg) and pick up a free packet of information and an
application. This packet includes the required fingerprint card.
Clay County residents can have their fingerprint cards completed
for $5 at the Green Cove Springs office, Monday through Friday,
8 am to 4:30pm. Once completed, you then mail in the application packet
to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Second,
you can obtain paperwork for the licensing process directly off
the internet by visiting

From this site you may also obtain Spanish version information.
Another option is to call 1-850-488-5381 for the Florida Department
of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
At
this time, the Clay County Sheriff's Office is not providing concealed
weapons courses.
