Murder Arrests Made in Clay County

Two suspects are now in custody and charged with the murder of Terrance DeCatur, a 30-year-old resident of 1462 Gifford Avenue in Orange Park.

Arrested are James Buddenhagen, age 40, of 3369 Wilderness Circle, Middleburg, and Steven Blauch, age 56, a resident of 1462 Gifford Avenue, Orange Park. At the time of the incident, the victim and suspect Blauch shared the Gifford Avenue apartment.

At 11:30am today at the CCSO Orange Park Operations Center on Blanding Blvd, Robbery-Homicide Section Sgt. Dan Mahla is available to answer questions regarding this case and the cooperation between the CCSO and the JSO to identify the victim and the suspects.
