The investigation into the disappearance of seven year old Somer Renee Thompson continues at this hour. Somer is a resident of 1706 Horton Drive in Orange Park, Florida. She disappeared yesterday on her way home from school. More than one hundred law enforcement officers are meeting at this time at the operation command post to regroup and head out on new searches in the area, mainly in wooded areas in and around the Grove Park neighborhood of Orange Park. In addition, detectives expanded the area in which they are locating and verifying registered sex offenders and predators. We have now covered a five mile radius.
