BUSTED Makes Arrest After Discovering A Meth Lab in Northern Bradford County

On Thursday December 17, 2009 the Bradford Union Starke Task Force to Eradicate Drugs received information from the Clay County Sheriff’s Office about a possible meth lab at a house in northern Bradford County. Detectives responded to the residence and made contact with the defendant who permitted the officers to search his house. Once inside, the detectives discovered numerous items commonly used to produce meth as well as two jars containing meth oil. The meth oil weighed approximately 694.4 grams which when dried would have a street value of approximately $55,500.00.
The defendant was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Bradford County Jail where he is being held without bond until first appearance on Friday. The DEA has been notified and may decide to pursue the charges in the federal courts due to the amount of meth involved in the case. The DEA is also assisting with the contamination clean-up of the chemicals and by-products at the residence.

Suspect: W/M Kevin Joel Cunningham (DOB: 11/15/71)
786 N.W. 265th Street Lawtey, FL. 32058
