For Immediate Release

CCSO HOSTS TEEN DRIVING CHALLENGE
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office will team up with local sponsors to again provide the Teen Driving Challenge course to teenage drivers in Clay County. The 2-day course is taught by CCSO defensive driving instructors and is designed for teens already in possession of their operator’s permit who are seeking hands-on experience in more challenging road conditions.
The use of the facility at the European Rally and Performance Driving School allows driving instructors to offer more advanced driving skills and technique instruction to these teens. The inaugural class that completed the course last year at the same location had a great time and improved their safety and driving skills a great deal. We appreciate your assistance in getting the word out to the community about this year’s event.
