CCSO Hosts Open House

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office invites residents of Clay County to attend an Open House event planned for Tuesday, March 1, 2011.

Residents may join county commissioners and county Budget Task Force members as Sheriff Rick Beseler and his staff conduct a presentation and facility tour. The purpose of the public meeting is to inform those that attend about the CCSO’s main functions, personnel levels, agency accomplishments and anticipated budget short-fall challenges.

Sheriff Beseler is seeking public input regarding which law enforcement services are most important to them. This is a great opportunity for everyone to become better informed about public safety services in Clay County and the need for prioritizing the services that are provided during tough budget times.
