Search for Endangered Adult in OP
Tuesday, August 02, 2011

MEDIA RELEASE
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
August 2, 2011

More than one dozen CCSO deputies are actively searching for a man who they consider an endangered adult. The search is taking place around a lake at the Bridgewater Apartment complex at 350 Crossings Boulevard in Orange Park. The individual is described as a white male, 24 years old, about 5’10 and 160 lbs. Anyone that sees this individual is asked to call 911.

Shortly before 6am this morning the CCSO received a disturbance call involving a man and a woman at the complex. Witnesses at the location reported that a man was acting erratic, causing destruction to a relative’s apartment and to other complex property, and then running around the complex in his underwear. Deputies were told that he was last seen in the area of the pond that is now being searched by CCSO personnel, including Dive Team members.

Additional information will be released as soon as it becomes available. It will take approximately one more hour to complete the search of the lake.

UPDATE:
CCSO Dive Team members completed their search of the lake at the Bridgewater Apartment complex and confirm that the missing man was not located in the lake. The search now broadens to the general community around the complex and the Orange Park area. The following is information on the identity of the man being sought.

ROUSSELL, CORY DAVID
DOB: 12/07/1986, Height: 510 Weight: 160
(see attached photo)

While still concerned about his well-being due to his violent and erratic behavior this morning, the CCSO does not consider him endangered at this time (now that it is known that he is not in the lake). He will likely face criminal mischief charges related to the property damage he caused at the complex. Roussell is already a registered felon with a lengthy criminal history. His most recent booking photo is attached to this release to assist the public in identifying him.

Anyone with information about Roussell’s location is asked to call 911.
