Family and friends of Brien Alvezios, a 13-year-old Clay County student killed last week by a hit-and-run driver in Middleburg, will hold a candlelight memorial in honor of the victim tomorrow night (Dec. 3rd). The memorial will be held in a field located near the crash site on Brannanfield Road (closest cross-street is Trailridge) at 9:40pm, which is the estimated time of the crash and Brien's death. Please contact the FHP with questions related to the status of the case.

Motorists who need to travel through the area tomorrow night are asked to do so with caution and to be aware of those members of the community attending the vigil.
