Safe Boating Class to be Held in March in Clay County
Even the most cautious boaters can sometimes experience problems on the water. Thatís why the US Coast Guard recommends that all recreational boaters (including paddle sport and personal water craft users) take a National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA)-approved Safe Boating Course. In addition, boaters can obtain a FREE vessel safety examination for the 2013 Vessel Safety Check decal.
Whatever your boating interests may be, an informed boater is a safe boater. Contact the USCG Auxiliary to enroll in the Saturday, March 9th ,one-day FREE Safe Boating class in Green Cove Springs, to inquire about other scheduled classes, or to request your annual Vessel Safety Check. Remember, itís the law that all boat operators born after 1/1/1988 take a one-time Safe Boating Course to earn a State of Florida Boating Safety ID card.
Refer requests and questions to firstname.lastname@example.org or call Wayne Beard at 386-698-2353 for additional information. Seating is limited and reservations are required.
