How to Apply

So you’re interested in applying for a job with the Clay County Sheriff's Office? Please review the following process. Doing so will answer many of your questions and hopefully streamline your application process. We are glad you want to join the CCSO family and we look forward to reviewing your application. Please Note:
All applications must be notarized originals – no copies, faxes, or emailed attachments.

Applying in Person

To obtain an application in person and/or to turn one in, we prefer that you come to our main office located at 901 North Orange Avenue in Green Cove Springs. However, you may also visit the Orange Park Operations Center or the Middleburg Operations Center. Office hours at all three of these locations is 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays.

Applying by Mail

Once you have completed your application you may mail it to the following address:

Applying Electronically

Although you can obtain an employment application via this Internet site, the CCSO does not accept applications submitted electronically. Nor do we accept faxed applications. All applications must be notarized originals – no copies, faxes, or emailed attachments.
