The
Clay County Sheriff's Office takes very seriously the threat posed
by the habitual perpetrators of sex crimes living in our community.
For that reason, we make every effort to keep you, the community,
educated about where offenders and predators live so that you can
protect your families and increase your own awareness.
A Florida law, effective 7/1/96, requires the Florida Department
of Law Enforcement to maintain an updated list of Registered Sexual
Predators in this state after a court has made a written finding
designating them as a Sexual Predator as that term is defined by
Florida statute. This information is also monitored and confirmed
by CCSO investigators on a quarterly basis. Any person who believes
information provided is not accurate should contact FDLE by phone
at 1-(888)357-7332 or via e-mail at sexpred@fdle.state.fl.us

Clay County residents may also contact the CCSO Intelligence Unit
at (904) 213-6628. Chapter 97-299, Laws of Florida, requires certain
sex offenders to directly register with law enforcement or to have
information compiled by the Department of Corrections, with the
information to be provided to FDLE. Florida law makes that information
available to the public.
Per Florida Statute Chapter 943, this site provides you with public
information regarding Sexual Predators and Sex Offenders. This information
should not be used to harass the offender, to vandalize their property,
or to facilitate any other crime against them.
