The Clay County Sheriff's Office Financial Crimes Section is dedicated to investigating financial crimes in Clay County and to bringing criminals to justice.  However, many financial crimes are committed by criminals who do not live in Clay County, even though their victims do.  These crimes are committed over the Internet or across state lines more times than not.  This means the victim needs to deal with more than just their local law enforcement agency.
