Meet Sheriff Darryl Daniels

Thank you for visiting the Clay County Sheriff’s Office website. Our main initiatives are crime reduction and community engagement. As your sheriff, I want to ensure the residents of Clay County have an effective and efficient law enforcement agency. I am introducing new strategies that will help reduce crime. My deputies and I will go door-to-door to listen to the issues and concerns in your neighborhood. We will host forums and meetings with business, community, faith-based and nonprofit leaders. I believe engaging the community can lead to fewer crimes in our community. My command staff, deputies and I look forward to serving you and keeping you safe.
