Praying for Clay County
Green Cove Springs, Fla. May 1 – You are invited to join Sheriff Darryl Daniels and other Clay County leaders as they pray for the safety and overall well-being of residents and the county. They will participate in the National Day of Prayer on May 4 at 8 a.m. at Springs Church, 1106 N. Orange Ave., in Green Cove Springs.
The first Thursday in May is set aside as a day of prayer and meditation across the country. In Clay County, prayers will be said for law enforcement officers, schools, elected officials, the community and the military.
The theme for the 2017 National Day of Prayer is “For Your Great Name’s Sake! Hear Us… Forgive Us… Heal Us!” which is taken from the Bible, Daniel 9:19, “O Lord, Listen! O Lord, Forgive! O Lord, Hear and Act! For Your Sake, O My God…”
