Sheriff Daniels on Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation
Green Cove Springs, Fla. Jan. 26 – Sheriff Darryl Daniels has a new state appointment. He now sits on the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation, Inc. The Florida Sheriffs Association appointed him to the position this week. Sheriff Daniels will be one of 15 commissioners who oversees the law enforcement accreditation program and officially accredits agencies in the state that have passed a rigorous review process.
“This new appointment is a natural progression in my law enforcement career. It is the capstone to all of the years I spent as an accreditation team leader. As a commissioner, I will be empowered to affect positive change in the profession of law enforcement with a focus on enhancing the quality of services provided to the citizens in the state of Florida,” said Sheriff Daniels.
Sheriff Daniels will serve a two, three-year term. He will attend his first Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation meeting Feb. 21 – 22.
