It is the policy of the Sheriff’s Office to establish close relationships with the community through our Community Policing programs and the deputies who staff them.

Clay County Sheriff's Office Neighborhood Watch Program

Our goal is to learn about community concerns and respond to them before they become serious problems. By developing programs that increase the community’s understanding of how law enforcement operates in our community public confidence is built and we develop a spirit of mutual cooperation and trust that benefits everyone. One of the many ways we share crime prevention information with our residents is through our agency’s weekly Crime Watch email.
