HUMAN REMAINS FOUND IN JENNINGS STATE FOREST IDENTIFIED

Foul Play Not Suspected

Green Cove Springs, Fla. Feb. 3 – The human remains found on Hattie Nolan Road last month in Jennings State Forest have been identified as those belonging to Hal Graham Warth. Foul play is not suspected. The 79-year-old Middleburg man was reported missing on Aug. 22, 2016. Detectives with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, surrounding agencies and volunteers conducted an extensive search for five days.

Hunters found Warth’s remains on Jan. 8 more than three miles from his property line. Additional testing will be done to determine an exact cause of death.
