NEIGHBORHOOD WALK IN SOUTHWEST CLAY COUNTY

Sheriff Daniels Focusing on Keystone Heights

Green Cove Springs, Fla. March 13 – Keystone Heights will be the site of Sheriff Darryl Daniels’ next Neighborhood Walk. He will go door-to-door in the High Ridge community on March 15 at 4 p.m. He and deputies with the Clay County Sheriff’s Office will talk with residents about safety issues and concerns in their neighborhood. The walk will begin at the intersection of Beloit Avenue and Purdue Street.

“The Neighborhood Walks have been successful. We are receiving valuable feedback to help us keep Clay County safe. Some of the main issues in the southwestern part of the county are narcotics activity and drivers going over the speed limit,” said Sheriff Daniels. “This is another great opportunity for my deputies and me to connect with the community.”

Sheriff Daniels and his staff invite residents to walk through the High Ridge neighborhood with them. They will continue to host Neighborhood Walks throughout the year. They will also host meetings with business, community, nonprofit and faith-based leaders to improve community relationships and reduce crime.
