MIDDLEBURG, FL — Clay County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a juvenile for shooting a BB gun at two Clay County District Schools buses. The CCSO immediately started the investigation Tuesday morning after the two buses were shot while on the way to pick up students for school. Luckily, no one was injured. Working with CCDS personnel, detectives learned both shots came from the same area near Henley Road and Talisman Drive in Middleburg. They developed a juvenile as a person of interest and spoke with that individual with a parent present. Detectives gathered information that led to the juvenile’s arrest. That person is facing two charges of Shooting Into An Occupied Vehicle. The juvenile’s parent was cooperative with our detectives. We appreciate the coordinated efforts with Clay County District Schools to bring this investigation to a close, and we continue to be grateful no one was injured in this situation.
